Notice of Public Meeting Proposed Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment
Take Notice that the Council of the Town of Grand Valley will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, to consider an Official Plan Amendment and related Zoning By-law Amendment under Sections 17, 26 and 34 of the Planning Act.
Reduced Load Restrictions are in effect as of Monday, March 10, 2025
The reduced load restriction period typically occurs between March 1 and May 15th dependent on weather and road conditions.
Further notice will be posted once restrictions are lifted.
The Town of Grand Valley has launched their new website!
A proposed Zoning By-law Amendment to decrease the required setbacks for an accessory structure.
Micro Surfacing will begin at the following road locations:
Conc.10/11 from Cty.25 to Amaranth/East Luther Townline
Conc. 8/9 from Cty.25 to Sideroad 27/28
Conc. 6/7 from Sideroad 27/28 West 600m.
Conc. 2/3 from Sideroad 24/25 to East/West Luther Townline.

A proposed Zoning By-law Amendment to amend the Rural Residential (RR) Zone regulations to recognize an existing lot of record.
On the 16th day of July, 2024 the Council of the Town of Grand Valley passed a municipal-wide development charges By-law No. 2024-33 under section 2 (1) of the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O., 1997 c. 27, as amended.
