By-Laws

The Town of Grand Valley provides online access to Reference copies of common by-laws; however, we do not guarantee that these versions are fully current and reliable for legal purposes. If you require a certified copy of these or any By-Law from the Town's records, please contact the Municipal Office at 519-928-5652.

The Town of Grand Valley employs a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer, tasked with responding to non-emergency calls regarding by-law infractions. Depending on the nature of the complaint, the Dufferin OPP detachment may also assist with managing the problem.

Residents may submit a by-law complaint by completing and submitting a complaint form to the Town of Grand Valley office in person, by email to bhaines@townofgrandvalley.ca or by fax to 519-928-2275. For after-hours emergencies, please call 911.

You need a licence in order to own, operate or drive a vehicle for hire in the Town of Grand Valley.  A vehicle for hire means taxicab, limousine or transportation network company.
