Potential Canada Post Mail Service Disruption
Canada Post has received strike notices from the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), for both Urban and RSMC (Rural and Suburban Mail Carriers) bargaining units. The notices indicate that CUPW will be in a legal position to begin strike activity on November 15 at 12:01 a.m. ET.
If you usually mail payments, applications, registrations or other documents to the Town, a mail service disruption could delay their arrival and lead to late fees or longer processing times.
To avoid late fees, interruptions, or delays, we encourage you to use alternate payment or delivery methods where possible including:
- submitting documents or invoices to the Town by emailing to mail@townofgrandvalley.ca
- property tax payments options visit Paying Taxes
- parking in-person or credit card by phone call 519-928-5652 extension 229.
