Notice of Road Closure - Bridge 10 Replacement - Sideroad 27&28

The Town of Grand Valley hereby notifies and advises all local residents that Grand Valley Bridge 10 located on Sideroad 27 and 28, approximately 950m South of Concession Road 12 and 13 will be:

Closed for Replacement beginning Monday, July 15, 2024

At present, the bridge replacement is expected to be completed by November 2024, however there is a possibility the construction may take longer based on uncertainties in the weather. Local access will be maintained at all times for residents, and businesses from either the north or the south, however, through access will not be permitted during construction. A map illustrating the project location and closure section is attached, for reference.

All agencies, such as, but not limited to; Emergency Services, Student Transportation Services, Waste Collection and Postal Service will all be notified of the road closure. Every effort will be made to ensure there is minimal or no disruption to the services they provide. Road closure notification signs will be installed and maintained throughout the project. The emergency number north of the bridge is 115340 and the emergency number south of the bridge is 115296.
