On Tuesday, June 11, 2024 the Council of the Town of Grand Valley will hold a public meeting, pursuant to section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, as amended, to present and obtain public input on the municipality’s proposed development charges (D.C.) by-law and underlying background study.

All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Meeting of Council and any person who attends the meeting may make representations relating to the proposed D.C. by-law and background study. The meeting is to be held:

In order that sufficient information is made available to the public, the background study is being made available online at the municipality’s website (https://www.townofgrandvalley.ca/en/town-hall/resources/Documents/Development-Charges/2024-Development-Charge-Background-Study---Town-of-Grand-Valley---Final.pdf) on May 17, 2024. Copies of the proposed D.C. by-law and the background study are also being made available as of May 17, 2024 from the municipal Clerk at the Town Office (519 928 5652).

Interested persons may express their comments at the public meeting or in writing, addressed to the municipal Clerk, at the above address prior to end of business on June 10, 2024.

Members of the public who are interested in watching the meeting online must contact the Town by 9:30a.m. on the day of the meeting in order to request login details. Call the Town at 519-928-5652 or email mail@townofgrandvalley.ca to request the login details.
