Tax Certificates

When a property is being sold, the purchaser requires information current property taxes and arrears. Occasionally, property owners require verification of the status of their property tax account, and a tax certificate may be required. To purchase a tax certificate, please call our office at 519-928-5652 or fax your request to 519-928-2275.

Birth Certificates

Birth Certificates are issued by the Province of Ontario through the Office of the Registrar General. You can complete the application for a birth certificate online through ServiceOntario.

Death Certificates

Death Certificates are issued by the Province of Ontario through the Office of the Registrar General. For deaths that occur in Ontario, the funeral director or person responsible for completing the death information brings the documents to the office of the municipal clerk. The division registrar (clerk or deputy clerk) records the information, issues a burial permit and forwards the documents to the Office of the Registrar General. Marriage Certificates

Marriage certificates are issued by the Province of Ontario through the Office of the Registrar General. You can complete the application for a marriage certificate online through ServiceOntario.
