Come discover Grand Valley and all of the great things that we have to offer. Our Town is known as "Nature's Playground" and it offers an assortment of leisure activities including fishing, hiking and horseback riding. Our historic downtown is steps away from the banks of the Grand River and is filled with niche market shops and restaurants. Grand Valley also offers opportunities to enjoy nature at the nearby Luther Marsh and on the Upper Grand Trail way, a four season nature trail. We also have a variety of indoor and outdoor amenities including a community centre, parks, playgrounds, sports fields and trails.
The Luther Marsh is one of the most significant wetlands in Southern Ontario and is owned and managed by the Grand River Conservation Authority. This picturesque human-made lake and marsh is home to some unique flora and fauna. There is even a "Bootlegger" Bicycle Trail. Visitors can go bird watching with over 2000 species of birds calling the Marsh home. Picnic, hike, canoe or cycle in Nature's Playground.
