The GVDFD is a volunteer fire department servicing the Town of Grand Valley and portions of Amaranth and East Garafraxa Townships.
We are a Volunteer Fire Department dedicated to delivery prompt and professional emergency response services. We take pride in safeguarding the community from fires, life-threatening emergencies, hazardous conditions, and providing fire safety education.

As Fire Chief, I am proud to lead a team of dedicated volunteers who are committed to serving our community. Our department is responsible for providing timely and professional emergency responses, protecting our community from fires, life-threatening emergencies, and hazardous conditions.
The GVDFD is made up of more than 30 volunteer firefighters who dedicate their time and expertise to responding to fire and life safety incidents in the GVDFD serviceable area.
In addition to our emergency response services, we are passionate about fire safety education. We believe that prevention is key, and we are dedicated to educating our community about fire safety practices to prevent emergencies before they occur.
