The Town of Grand Valley is committed to helping new and existing businesses grow. Together, our Business Improvement Area (BIA) and Economic Development Committee (EDC):

Identify economic development opportunities
Encourage business retention and expansion activities
Facilitate external business attraction
Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders

Dufferin County has also created an Economic Development Steering Committee. This committee is working to create a contemporary and relevant County-wide economic development strategy with a 10-year outlook, and to implement an action plan with a 3-5 year timeframe. Business Improvement Area (BIA)

Economic Development Committee (EDC)

The Town of Grand Valley's Economic Development Committee (EDC) works as an advisory Committee of Council.

EDC Mandate

The EDC provides strategic direction related to business retention and expansion projects, marketing and communication efforts and research activities within the Town.

The Town of Grand Valley and its EDC have compiled a list of Available Sites and Buildings and a Business Directory to provide a road map on how to best focus our efforts in Economic Development.
